Sadie, here. I’m in my fae cat personae today. I’ve been busy with Knot and Coyote at the Appalachian Foothills Renaissance Festival. New Faire. Finch is losing it. Lots happening. You’ll have to read Queen of the Faire before I can reveal more.
Gillian has been busy writing new short stories. I’ve been monitoring her words closely to make sure she doesn’t reveal too much about the fae world and the magic. I discovered something new the other day that was funny. Whenever she walks away from her computer, I like to add extra words to her work in progress and then jump down before she returns to her office chair. When she sits down, she’ll read what she has written and scratch her head in confusion. “I didn’t write that.”
I innocently sit by the window and pretend to be observing the birds, but I’m secretly laughing. That’s one way to keep her off track—keep her discombobulated.
I did want to let you know that Gillian will be at the Decatur Book Festival.
Hope to see you there!
